Sukhwant S. Bhatia
President & CEO
Sukhwant came to the Lord Jesus Christ from a Sikh background in 1981 after an exhaustive 4+ years of a comparative study of other religions with the Bible. He is the first Sikh to have graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS) with a ThM degree and probably the first in the history of Christianity. Sukhwant has pastored and planted churches since 1984. Coming from a religious background where the number of followers of the Lord Jesus Christ from 40+ million is in the hundreds, challenged Sukhwant to go into full-time ministry to take the Gospel of salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ to the unreached. Sukhwant earned his Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration at the University of North Texas, in collaboration with DTS, to prepare for a lifetime of ministry of “teaching faithful men who will also be qualified to teach others” (2 Tim. 2:2).
